A special occasion I always love during baseball season is the day now set aside to pay tribute to Jackie Robinson. Years ago this started off as kind of a sloppy gesture by the MLB of having certain players wear his number and certain teams paying tribute. I think it is now what it always should have been, every team honoring him and every player wearing his number.
