Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
If you haven’t read Batman and Robin #18 you should track down a copy. Pat Gleason and Peter Tomasi give you some really emotional storytelling without a word of dialogue. And for me the member of the family that I was left feeling the most sympathy for is Damian’s dog Titus. He is only featured in a few panels but if you have a dog you can see a lot of in those images. You can tell he doesn’t understand what has happened and even worse doesn’t understand that his best friend isn’t coming home.
“None of you seem to understand. I’m not locked in here with you…you’re locked in here with me!”
Okay is everybody paying attention? So after applying snout to beak for 3 quick breaths we check for a pulse again and repeat with chest compressions…. got it?
“Alright everybody just be cool, we just need to get our stories straight. If we say the duck was dead when we got here and then look adorable, we’ll probably get away with it.”
Sometimes I think the dogs and I are in an unspoken contest to see who can be the laziest.
This video is awesome, the little girl in it is also awesome.
What is not awesome is a lot of the comments and responses people have left. I hope she doesn’t read them and continues being awesome in her stuffed animal trampoline mosh-pit.
